CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
- 36 Holes, Stroke Play
- There will be no cut after 18 Holes
- There will be Gross & Net Divisions, players will compete in both.
Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024 - Round One (18 Holes)
Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024 - Round Two (18 Holes) - Tee times will be based on Round 1 scores.
HANDICAP DETERMINATION: The index that will be used will be as of Oct. 7, 2024.
SENIOR DIVISION: For competitors who have reached their 55th birthday by October 9, 2024. The Senior Division will be comprised of the Seniors playing the forward tees only. If a Senior plays the back tee, they will be competing in the main event only. Should a senior playing in the main event earn Player of the Year points, they will be added to the Senior Player of the Year.
PACE OF PLAY POLICY: The 2024 Pace of Play policy will be in effect. Pace will initially be monitored through score entry into the Golf Genius scoring App. Please enter scores for each hole promptly. Pace of play for last seasons event was poor and we are looking to avoid a repeat of that situation. Please play ready golf and be aware of where your groups position is in relation to the group in front.
DRIVING RANGE: Green Valley CC - Will be available both days. Newport CC - Will be available both days.
FOOD & BEVERAGE: Newport CC - Food service is not available, the bar will be open. Green Valley CC - Food will be available both days on a cash basis.
CART & CADDIE POLICY: Carts are permissible and included in the entry fee. Carts are mandatory.
